12 months in 2012

The beginning of the year I attempted to take a photo every day with my dslr, and that stopped about 2 weeks in. Whoops. So much for that resolution. But I did manage to take some photos of him or us every month, and here they are! Can't wait to see what 2013 looks like!

One Year photos

With the help of my mom I took Everett out for his one year photos a couple weeks ago.

I've already shared a couple but thought I would share the rest. Well this isnt technically the rest, I have a lot more I could edit, but I'll do that someday...ha.

 

Family Photos

For Mothers Day, I did mini sessions as a promotion for my photography business. My sister in law Rebecca met up with me after one evening of the sessions so I could do their photos, as well as her sister in laws photos, and get photos of both sets of cousins for gifts for Grandmas (did that make sense??). It worked out perfectly because Rebecca is so talented with the camera and took our family photos as well. That was the one thing I wanted for mothers day- family pictures! (and maybe an iphone..lol not happening though!) Well, now that Grandmas have their mothers day gifts, I can share some of these!

 There are so many favorites! Thanks again to Rebecca.

p.s, if you have a little boy, Wal Mart has these hats for $3.47, I bought the navy one as well. I love them!

Photo A Day- Week 1

Oh my goodness I did it! I made it through my first week. It was a struggle. It made me realize how dependent on my silly phone I am. I want to capture Everett in his element, I want him to have photos to share with his future family, and this will discipline me to do it, I hope.

01/02- waking up with sleepy eyes

01/03- bath time! he is loving it lately!

01/04- playtime!

01/05- not of Ev- but this gets mama through the day! Homemade caramel macchiato!

01/06- playing in the kitchen

1/08- he can sit himself up, and just this past week he's been doing it A TON!

6 month "shoot"

You'd think as a photographer, I'd have a lot more photos of this boy. Most days we just hang out and I don't think of pulling out the camera. Little snap shots of our day are what the phone is for...at least thats what my lazy side tells me. I really need to do things like this more:

I took some shots of him on our bed in the afternoon when the light was just gorgeous. One day I will take him out and try to get some good shots of him clothed.
