What happened in 4months?

I cannot believe it has been 4 months since I posted anything here. What on earth.
When google reader went out, I stopped reading all blogs. I used to read them on my phone every morning, but then the app was deleted and I forgot about blogging. I also deleted flickr from my phone, and twitter, and vine...you know, just trying to get rid of all that extra junk I was doing. Time wasters (well flickr just took up too much memory).
ANYWAY, the point being, when I stopped reading other blogs, I stopped caring about mine. And that made me think I was doing it just because other people were, or because I wanted to impress others. That is not who I want to be. I won't be posting here regularly, but I do want to update my few readers on several life changes that happened.
Since June, we:

Sold our house. It went on the market in June, and we sold it in July and moved out July 31st. We were living with our gracious family for 8 weeks while the new home was being built. We just moved into our new home a week ago (this pic is old, obviously). It is only a few miles away from where we were. We love the new location so much. It feels perfect here!




Found out we were expecting #2! We found out in July we were pregnant. We had been trying to conceive since January and had a few bumps in the road. We were thrilled but cautious to share the news. I am now 18 weeks along. I have been feeling so great lately. During the first move (packing our old house up), I was so so sick. Just super nauseous and exhausted. Thankfully it didnt last too long!





Also, we found out its a girl!!

GIlbert Balloon Festival

Last Friday evening, after a busy afternoon, we went to the Gilbert Balloon Festival with some of Chris' co-workers (ok, his boss!). They had tickets and a parking pass and wanted to share with us! It was a nice evening. Everett had a lot of fun seeing the "boons" as he calls them! He also loved the fire, he actually is quiet fond of fire already...scary.

Everett watching the Sesame Street float at the Macys Thanksgiving day parade. Yup. The only one. Later in the day when we were at dinner, he was acting a fool. Crying, screaming, just really out of control. It was embarrassing to say the least. We left flustered (more my husband than me. shoot, I didn't want to leave until I ATE PIE!). And that was Thanksgiving. (darn eye teeth coming in)

This week has overall been wonderful. Chris is off all week long, so of course my son is showing off with sleeping in late and taking extra long naps. I have even had plenty of 'me' time (grocery shopping solo is so refreshing).

This evening we had my cousin Jaima and her family over. 

Last weekend we went to Zoo Lights with my mom, a fun tradition she does. (yes I am wearing my ergo, and diaper bag, yet carrying my son who actually just wanted to be in his cousins stroller)

and last weekend we also went to the fair with Chris' dad

okay I will end this random post now.

November, so far.

Wow. I cannot believe it is almost halfway through November, just 6 short weeks until Christmas.
Everett turned 18 months this past weekend, I need to do his post for that.

Here is what we have been doing since I last posted:

dressed up as a spider, went trick or treating

Went to the farm with family. Everett loved the piggies.

Grandpa Bill visited and we got to have some good quality time with him

I drove to California for some photo sessions and stayed with my friend Laurel

Got a new big boy car seat and forward face (daddy sometimes sits next to E for fun)

had more visits with my moms side of the family who were in town

Halloween Costumes

Sunday night we had a party for a friend. She turned two October 30th, so her party was Halloween themed! We had to dress up. Chris and I had silly play on word costumes, and we bought Everett the Itsy Bitsy Spider costume from the party store. You will probably see more of him in this costume!

Zoo Day!

We had our first zoo day of fall last Friday. I went with my siblings and thier kiddos, and my mom. It was a rare treat!
 It was actually nice outside for about an hour, then come 10 am we were all dying of heat. Oh, Arizona.

Everett is so in love with animals right now so I was stoked to take him to the zoo. He loves birds and cats and of course dogs, so I thought he would be intrigued at all the new animals there. He sure was! He loved it, I cant wait for it to cool off a bit more so we can go back.
