This is my first entry about all the great clothes I find!! (at least I think they are)

Since I was very young I always was conscious of price tags and sale racks. I haven't figured out why, since I know it wasn't something my parents made me do. Whenever I buy clothes, they are always on sale or clearance. I like clearance better. Here are two finds:

Chris got us these for Christmas. I thought it was just a joke, but these suckers clean your teeth like no other! Kids toothbrushes really get in those crevices since the heads are so small!
The computer I took over. Please ignore the dust, I just noticed it too. 
My dear feta cheese...I put this on everything....
I am trying to not eat so much sugar! This gum does the trick!
If you could smell this Cinnamon Coconut candle you would love it too...but I love ANYTHING coconut...

16 random facts.

My sister tagged me for this on Facebook, but I really needed something to blog about...so what the heck!

1. 4 years ago today my Uncle Troy died. I loved him dearly, and miss him dearly.
2. A friend said this today, and I totally agree " People need to look to the Bible for a savior not to the White House". Amen, anyone?? Especially on inauguration day?
3. I have been incredibly lonely lately. I wish I had more friends in my life.
4. I am starting to think I will never have kids. 
5. I get bothered when people cringe at the fact that I 'live in Queen Creek'. It REALLY bothers me actually. 
6. I have been watching Intervention lately and I love that show. 
7. I want to move out of Arizona and somewhere far so we can start over or get away or something...but that will never happen.
8. I have been begging for a closet organizer since we moved into our house. We take up all 3 closets with our clothing.
9. I have a really fun job and I enjoy what I do. I make a decent living off it too :)
10. I buy a lot of clothes. Only bargains though. I am thinking I will start posting my finds of the week/month. This probably explains #8. 
11. My husband Chris really is my best friend, and I believe that is a great thing.
12. I dream of what names I will give to my non-existent children. ALL THE TIME.
13. I want to get a tattoo on my foot. That too, will never happen.
14. I never EVER cried at a movie until I met Chris. I think its because I finally knew what love was. Now I bawl at EVERYTHING!
15. I am afraid at night.
16. Now I am going to go eat a grapefruit. 

Things gone wrong...

My sister asked me to get some good black and white photos of the kids today. About half way through, I realized my ISO was all the way up- which makes for an extremely noisy photo. I don't know why I didn't notice it but I was really upset. I also was experimenting shooting in RAW, since it is so recommended, but the files aren't readable on my computer. Whoever said that is a good idea is nuts. I was able to download a program to convert them, but it took over an hour to convert about 20 pictures. Not doing that again!
All I have to say is that I am glad this happened with my sister and not a paying client!

Chris really likes this video...I do too :) It will make you laugh and hope that Christians are cooler these days.

My wish this year...

Is to get away on a cruise! Doesn't that sound fun?? We both have never been and I hope someday SOON we can go :)

This makes me just so sad! We really miss little Chloe. I don't even remember taking this picture. I just came across it right now.

She isn't replaced...but here is a new picture of little Delilah.

We played everything very low key this year. We only exchanged stockings, and Chris gave me the best one ever!! Mine was total junk compared to his :) We did go shopping and buy stuff for ourselves which always is good.

happy 2009!

What a year this has been! I have to say, I am very excited for it to be over and a new year to start.
Here are a few things we are going to try to do this year, and things we look forward to.
-Be more active!
-Clean as we (or just I) go
-We are glad Delilah is healthy and will soon be bigger so we don't worry about stepping, or sitting on her...whoops.
-More family time
-I look forward to doing more photography
-Spend more time in the Word
-We hope that in 2009 we will really find our place in AZ, and where God wants us.
-I will try to not slack on this blog! Geez I still don't have Christmas pictures up, but I didn't even take many.

Homemade Gifts

I made these two gifts this month. One for my sister, one for my friends birthday.





I also made about 20 headbands for my niece. Those pictures up soon!

So we got Delilah back last Saturday night and she is doing wonderful! She is hyper, playful and eating on her own. I gave her a middle name....its Lively...we are dorks. We just can't believe how well she is. She eats a TON! She likes to bite and attack my face. Its like she is a totally different dog! Praise God.
I had a lot of pictures to post, but something happened to my SD card in our little camera that we take everywhere...what a bummer. Good news is, you can buy 2G SD cards for $10 now!

A Pupdate.

Man I wish I had something cooler to blog about.

We have an update on Delilah! 

On Saturday night we contacted the breeder to find out if any other puppies were sick, if they knew how to care for a pup like her, etc, etc. They are a great couple who have been breeding for 10 years so we thought they may know something. Well, after telling them about her, they wanted to take her back and care for her until she is 100%. We dropped her off that same night and she has progressively gotten a little better. They wanted to see if should would take back to nursing but she is past that. They said today she drank water on her own which is a big step! They also have her on antibiotics to maybe flush out any illness that is making her so weak. When we first gave her back they said she didn't look good AT ALL and were very concerned. I am very grateful that they offered to care for her. It was so much work to feed her one hour then put fluids in her the next. We love her so much but we wouldn't of been able to care for her like that with work and all. And forcing a syringe in a little puppies mouth isn't easy! 

I thank God for this answered prayer, and continue to pray for full recovery...

Prayer request...

Ok, this may sound strange or unnecessary, but we have a need in our home. Delilah is very sick. She has been not eating, throwing up and very lethargic. She doesn't act like a little puppy. We took her to the vet the other day, and she was tested for Parvo but that came back negative. The vet said she looked healthy and normal we just have to force feed her. Well, this morning was EXTREMELY scary. Chris got up for work and panicked when he saw little Delilah. She was on her back and couldn't move her head or right limbs. She was in a comatose state. We rushed her to the vet and she is now doing ok, but she had a blood sugar attack which is normal for Chihuahuas. They wanted to hold her there all day at the cost of $500! Yowza! We took her home instead but she still isn't eating and is very lethargic and still throwing up. They tested her for worms and parasites and a few other things but its all negative. We don't know why she won't eat! This is so sad! I know she is just a pup that we've only had a few days, but we can't lose another dog already. Its so heartbreaking. Please pray for her little health to be restored!!!

Chris & His Girl

....no, not me- the puppy. He is in love with her. He needed this :)

She only cried the very first night we brought her home, but now she sleeps all through the night without a peep. Since yesterday she has been throwing up and not eating much. I am very worried but Chris says not to be. The vet opens soon so I will be calling!
Also our garbage disposal broke and we cant use the kitchen sink. This happened after I cooked dinner last night, so we have a mess of nasty dishes everywhere. Oh, it messed up the dishwasher as well. We've had a lot of expenses this month, we really don't need this too! AH!

New puppy!

This is our new girl! She is a long hair chihuahua like Chloe was. We think we are going to name her Delilah, for Samson and Delilah :) What do you guys think???
She is so small! The breeder says she will be 4-5lbs, right now she is barely over 1lb at 6 weeks old. She has been quiet all day, but now she is running back and forth all over the living room. Samson has been ignoring her so far. She is adorable!!
